As you can see, our new dog Stewie (yeah, Family Guy!), finds that our other dog, Lulu, makes an incredible bed. When he learned to finally climb up on her (green chair) she was disturbed but tolerant. He was only ten pounds or so, and really young. Since then, Stewie has grown to almost forty pounds and still finds that she makes a bed.
If you look at Lulu's face in the second picture, it has changed to seem as if she is beaming a silent "HELP!" in my direction. I don't disturb what is going on because she is almost sixty pounds and can take care of it by just standing up if she wants to. She has not figured out that she really has control of the situation and can change what is happening. After all, she has pipe veins running down her back legs due to how muscular she is. It is incredible she doesn't know what a bad ass she is (or maybe it is a good thing she is ignorant of her power) and how frightening she could be.
Oh, one more thing- Stewie's ears are NATURALLY erect. No surgery or gimmicks. Those are the real thing and we don't know what breed his parents were because we adopted him from a shelter. They are unreal! They started being erect only some of the time and as he matures they are that way all of the time. When he is really on alert, they touch in the middle.
